1. QuickTime is not required to view my videos, but I recommend it. Most standard video players will work, although exceptions may arise.
2. If you are still having trouble watching videos in your browser, you can try downloading them to your computer. To do this, right-click the link (control-click on a Mac), and choose Save Link As... (in Firefox), Save Target As... (in Internet Explorer), or Download Linked File... (in Safari). Choose a location for your file (such as your Desktop). Once the file is finished downloading, open it directly from your computer.
